After being diagnosed with Thymoma (scans and consultations) I was admitted to ward 30 in the Cardiothoracic Centre in the Freeman Hospital sun 25th Oct.
Surgical procedure was explained in great detail, all staff acted professionally and very polite.
Surgery performed on 26th, all went as planned, really pleased surgeon used Robotics, otherwise would've meant longer stay, an increased chance of infection and much longer recovery time.
I was discharged Wednesday 28th, and making excellent recovery at home.
Very grateful to all staff involved.
I'd heard from friends and those former patients that the Freeman had a good reputation.
Having first hand experience in the Freeman I strongly recommend services surgery and care.
God Bless the NHS
