The St James Practice team are fantastic! In lockdown (1) alone I had a telephone consultation for a skin issue, during the consultation the GP texted a link, I used the link to send photographs from my phone, & a prescription was sent to my nominated pharmacy. I had 2-week wait cancer referral, with a subsequent outpatient appointment & a later same day investigation under anaesthetic (all results good). I attended Whipp's Cross emergency department most recently with an injury (DIY self-inflicted) that needed sutures, & after this I had a welfare check from the practice manager, & a GP at the practice, to enquire if I was okay, as I'd had a fall with a dislocation some months back. I am fine, but felt reassured that they care & are looking out for their patients who sadly may not be okay. The practice team have maintained their high standards of professionalism & care towards their patients while adapting to new ways of working in a pandemic. Thank you!
