"Excellent nursing staff during hospital stay for Pancreatitis"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I was a patient for 10 weeks in Ward 207, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The care I received from the medical and nursing teams was excellent. I was impressed by their professional approach which embraced knowledge, skill and expertise, whilst ensuring I was involved in information sharing. There was strong evidence of teamwork, shared responsibility and mutual support across the range of nursing staff. Nurses ensured my needs were met. They were friendly, approachable and showed personal interest in supporting my recovery. I felt very well looked after.

Dear Aberdeen resident,

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. I have shared this with the whole team in ward 207. They are all delighted to hear how you felt well looked after, and how you have recognised the teamwork on our ward. Pancreatitis can be such a challenging disease to overcome. I sincerely hope your ongoing recovery at home is going well.

Thank you again, take care.

Karen
