On Saturday evening 7/11/20 my great grandson to whom we are Special Guardians started to vomit and complained of severe stomach pains. We took him to QEQM A&E arriving just past midnight. From that time onwards he received nothing but the best care possible. At nine years old he has no liking for blood being taken and put up mild resistance which was treated with tolerance and good humour. Following examinations he was sent home to return in 48 hours for further tests. On the next visit he was again treated with the utmost care. The whole experience showed the NHS in the best possible light. The night staff despite being very busy still found time to treat him and his great grandmother with the the utmost respect and tender care. From start to finish he was treated as an individual not just another patient. Thank you to ALL the staff in A&E who are working under very trying circumstances. You are a bunch of wonderful people.
"Great under pressure."
