I had a phone consultation on 06/11 because l had a headache on the left side of my head ( forehead, eye, cheekbone..) worse when l bent down. No cough, no temperature. I was told to continue with paracetamol when l already said it was not helping. She then said she would prescribe cocodamol. Husband went to pharmacy to get it nothing there. When l called back she told the receptionist to tell me she never said she would prescribe it and continue with paracetamol!!
I called 111 shortly after as my head was killing me. Was prescribed antibiotics, ibuprofen and a medecine to protect my stomach to treat sinus infection. Next day the relief was considerable. Worse of all the GP had sent me to do a corona virus test with no symptoms. Now 6 days later still no result and kids missing 4th day of school today!!! l emailed one of the practice managers. No reply. Why are people being sent to do a test without symptoms? Isn't that a waste of NHS resources? Not to mention people having to self isolate with all their family members for no reason. My daughter has assessment week. After calling 119 every single day for my results they finally
sent an email to chase my results up but was told if they cannot locate them that's it. So what proof do l give to my children schools that we are not a risk???? We are still stuck at home as l am writing. Shouldn't you try to remedy this? No point calling as l am always between 6 and 12 on waiting list.
"some serious incompetence"
