"Caring and responsive "

We are so lucky to have a practice where urgent care is available all day with a minimum of fuss. On Wednesday my son was 200 miles away trying to get treatment for a bladder infection. His local surgery wouldn’t see him for 2 days, and 111 told him it wasn’t urgent. He came home, called Chew and had antibiotics by 10.00 yesterday morning. The pain got worse during the day, and he was seen again at 5.00 and prescribed stronger painkillers. Why aren’t all practices this responsive?
