I am a carer for a young man with dystonia and the way this place has dealt with his disability is an absolute joke. It takes a ridiculous amount of time to be put through to them over the phone and when you finally are, there's no appointments left. My patient is supposed to have his medication in monthly installments as decided by Kings college hospital in London, yet St georges medical centre (that have no dystonia specialists) have decided they know better than the experts and are now only giving him a weeks dosage at a time. Dystonia affects the muscles and prevents my patient from being able to walk long distances and yet he is being told to travel to the doctors twice a week because they no longer allow him to order his medications over the telephone. There was no explanation as to why he can no longer order his medication over the phone, no explanation as to why they have changed the amounts he receives, and no explanation for them having no appointments! The suffering this Doctors office has caused my patient is awful and it should not be happening! If you struggle with your mobility, do not choose this place to be your G.P.
