About 10 days ago, I gave a friend a lift to her 1st oncology appointment. Understandably anxious, she was very, very sick in my car, just as we left the motorway, which added to her distress.
I was so grateful for the compassion and efficiency of the Clatterbridge staff, who immediately came to our aid - firstly, the gentleman in the booth, who allowed me to park and alerted a passing paramedic to our problem - he, in turn, supplied me with gloves, paper towels and antiseptic wipes, informed the consultant of the delay and arranged for a wheel chair. The two nurses, who brought it, were quietly reassuring and couldn’t have been kinder to my friend.
To all of you, thank you, thank you, thank you - our NHS is truly wonderful
"Thoughtful efficiency"
