"A&E admission"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine

(as the patient),

I was admitted to A&E by ambulance after having Central chest pain going through to my back.

Handover to hospital staff was smooth they saw to me straight away with ecg, bloods etc

The department was kept busy enough but staff still made sure I was ok

I felt I was treated as an individual and not just a number which means alot

On discharge from A&E it wasn't cardiac related which I was glad to hear

Dear laferguson8512,

Many thanks for taking the time to write about your experience in the Emergency Department. It means a lot to the team to receive this feedback and I will ensure it is shared with them.

I hope you are feeling better and recovering well.

Julie
