About: Parker Drive Surgery

Having had a great service from Parker drive surgery for years I am totally shocked that they haven't got the decency to contact patients directly regarding a change to services and that now all services are now run through the thurmaston branch. Happy to put info online but can't be bothered to contact patients directly. Think they need to wake up to the fact that not everyone checks the internet every 5 mins or even has access to the Internet e.g elderly patients or those on low incomes. No , have to find out instead by an automated message while waiting for call to be answered. Just awful customer service and a sad reflection on how little they must value their patients. Told today by receptionist that this was a practice manager's decision but they are not available to talk to this week and only contactable by phone.. great another half an hour wait to talk to someone. So poor front line staff will probably have to put up with lots of questions and possible anger from the public as this change has been so poorly handled by surgery management. Not everyone drives, not everyone can afford a taxi and back to a appointment to a surgery that in fact in tge County. Congrats on a job well done, my sympathy is for the front line staff who are and will be dealing with the fallout from this decision and lack of communication and common decency.
