(as a relative),

I just wanted to say thank you for the service from the 999 call handler and Scottish Ambulance Service this morning. 

I phoned 999 as a relative collapsed. The call handler was very efficient and reassuring. The Ambulance arrived quickly and the paramedics were very caring, compassionate and thorough. 

I just wanted to say that I’m very grateful for this service.

Thankyou very much for taking the time to share your feedback here on CareOpinion. I am very sorry to read that your relative has suffered a collapse and I hope that they are ok and feeling better? That must have been very frightening.

I am however very pleased to read the wonderful comments you make in regards to the call handler, the dispatch of the vehicle and the crew that attended. If you would like to have these comments passed to the staff involved I would be more than happy to do so. In order to locate them I would need to ask for a few details that can be emailed to the team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot. These would be the date, time and location that the vehicle attended you as well as your relatives name. If you would also be so kind as to make reference to your CareOpinion username I would be very grateful so that if someone else picks up your email they can easily link it to this post.
