"Bowel Cancer and After Care"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / General surgery Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Oncology unit

(as the patient),

Was diagnosed with bowel cancer in February 2020. This came as a complete shock to me causing great anxiety and worry. The staff at Forth Valley who looked after me (oncology nurses, general nursing staff, radiologists, anaesthetists, and consultants) were wonderful and I could not have asked for anything better. A special mention to Mr Kynaston my consultant whose expertise and patient manner were second to none.

My recuperation continues and I feel very confident about my ongoing after care.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a positive review. No doubt your diagnosis came as a complete shock but the way you have handled it shows amazing strength. I am so glad that as a team we were able to make your stay as good as it could have been. I will pass on your remarks to the team as it will prove to be a massive boast to them all especially in the times we find ourselves.
