"I wont be returning to this centre again."

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Breast surgery

(as the patient),

I was referred by my GP for pain in my left breast, last year i was told i had a cyst and if i had any pain to left them know.

I left the Jasmine Centre today feeling that I had been told of for wasting time and that having a mammogram was not something that can happen regularly basis. I had 1 in 2018 after finding a lump. I wont be returning to this Centre again or even calling my GP about this again

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am so sorry to read how unhappy you were with the treatment you received, your comment will be shared with the team. We would also appreciate talking to you about your experience as we want to ensure if you do find another lump that you speak to your GP and don't leave it. It is also important you attend your routine breast screening appointments when you receive your invites.

Can you please contact the Patient Experience Team on 01302 642764, 01302 642767, or email dbth.pals.dbh@nhs.net and we can discuss your concerns further.
