I tripped and fell one day early September, and encounted terrible pain in the pelvic area.
I thought I could just rest and it would get better, and then after about 3 days the pain got worse, and I took myself to A @ E,
Here ,I experienced top level treatment ,blood pressure, blood test ,xray seen by a junior doctor, and followed up with a consultant.
The conclusion was a cracked bone in the pelvis, no operation required, pain killers and rest.
All the staff in A @ E were friendly, sympathetic and knowledgeable.
I was discharged with pain killers and a business card for the fracture clinic I was told to call them for advice and exercises.
They called me back, were very helpful and said they would send me virtual exercises.
As promised in the post were the exercises.
I have been exercising and now able to walk without my 2 walking sticks, almost 8 weeks, as told it would take.
I have very high respect for ALL the NHS, and in particular for the staff in A@E. on that day.
Many thanks to all .
Keep safe
