I had a telephone consultation with a Dr, who want me to do a blood test

Then he told me to pick up a form for my blood test.

I then revived two missed calls and a message was left from a nurse say this is your second call and your booking would be cancelled.

What booking?

I called the surgery and they did not know what I was talking about. I mentioned to the receptionist is it to do with a blood test, she said it could be. She said the next appointment will be over three weeks time, which I said I don't know due to child care and work commitment.

I then went on line and manage to book an appointment online at the surgery.

Which was before the half term and where I had booked A/L .

I had a phone call saying in a message that I have to do another blood test, because my blood was left out and clotted and that could I call the surgery to book another appointment this week

I phoned and the receptionist tried to book me this week , I said yes it would have to be Friday but I have to bring my 7 year old ( I'm a single working mother) the receptionist grunted under her breath and said can't you leave him outside.......

I said what leave a 7 year old outside the surgery, she then went on to say we are trying to stop the flow of traffic coming into the surgery, I said leave a 7 year old outside. I told her to forget it. She then said bring him and booked the appointment

I am concern that she even suggested I leave my child outside , that is a safeguarding.

I work with people and some mothers don't understand English very well and may even leave their child outside the surgery, due to fear if the receptionist.
