"best compliments to sonographer"

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

I attended my 20 week pregnancy scan at the Frimley Park Hospital. I would like to dedicate this review for my sonographer. But it's a shame I am not allowed to mention her name on here. She made my appointment by far one of the best NHS experiences I had in a long time. And it is not because baby scans are (usually) enjoyable experiences, but because she was knowledgeable, skilful, thoughtful and warm. She was thorough; she talked through every step, provided lots of education, which is rare in a fast pace medical field. I know this because I have been working in NHS for over 15 years in a highly professional field; and working part of very busy departments throughout pandemic too. I could not be grateful enough for her transparency and information. She was considerate and warm; she made my partner and I feel really comfortable and supported. All these ever-changing rules and anxiety during this pandemic made us cold and robotic. Services are so under pressure they have become difficult to access and difficult to engage with. But this sonographer delivered the highest quality of care with the highest level of compassion. I hope her work will be noticed and acknowledged by the trust and management. My best compliments

Dear Dovile,

what a lovely comment to make on NHS.UK in support of the sonographer, we will be able to identify them I am sure. I have sent your comment to the head of sonographers and the head of radiology so they can pass the message on and congratulate the staff member who obviously follows our Trust values and gives a =

great service, we hope all our staff do the same. We all thank you for working in the NHS it is certainly challenging times at the moment and we hope you and your baby thrive over the next few months..
