Pulmonary embolism

This happened nearly 2 years ago yet I still think about it, if it wasn't for Dr McDowall on that day I would probably not be here.   At my appointment I presented with shoulder pain and Dr McDowell knew this was not the case and suspected it was a lot more sinister and it was in fact a clot.   She listened to me and even though it was just a bad feeling I had along with the pain she trusted me and sent me to the hospital where I was diagnosed with numerous clots scattered over both lungs.   If Dr McDowall hadn't referred me I know I wouldn't be here today.
