About: Causeway Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I attend meadows gynae suite at Causeway Hospital in Northern Ireland. 

Highly professional and technically proficient staff were able to complete an important test procedure which has not been possible for 7 years.

The nurse was Lisa. She and her assistant were kind, patient and appreciated my feat and pain. they inspired confidence so I was able to ask questions about sensitive issues and received important additional advice.

I also want to acknowledge Agnes a nurse at the Causeway Family planning clinic who was the first person in years to recognise the condition  affecting me and setting me on the path to appropriate services.

I appreciate the highly skilled professional service and even more that it was delivered with kindness and sensitivity

Can I say a big thank you for your kind words, appreciation and praise for the service and for the staff who cared for you throughout your journey. I am delighted you found staff were kind, empathetic and sensitive to your needs as these are qualities we strive for when delivering services. It is heartwarming to know that you felt listened to and that the care provided was professional, compassionate and inspired confidence in you for the staff and service we delivered.

During these difficult times it is lovely to receive positive feedback and important for staff to feel appreciated. I will make sure that your story is shared with Lisa, Agnes and the wider team.
