We contacted 111 and were advised to go to hospital as my husband had fallen and banged his head and eye. He suffers from paralysis down left side due to. Stroke 10 years ago.
We got to hospital at 9.20 pm but he wasn’t seen by anyone until 8 o’clock the following morning.
We were put in a small cubicle separated by a paper curtain waiting to see physio.
Unfortunately there were several people in adjoining cubicles who were suffering from Covid 19. We could hear them gasping for breath. Apart from this being very upsetting in our opinion it was also dangerous for other patients to be in such close proximity to these patients especially elderly patientsTo help reduce this virus from spreading people with the virus should be in a separate part of the hospital.
