About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Accident & Emergency Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Acute Medical Unit

(as the patient),

Following being transferred to Acute Medical Unit 5 I would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff for the empathy and kindness I witnessed to some of the most vulnerable and elderly patients in their care,   They are a credit to their professsion.

Hi LM20

Thank you very much for taking the time out of your day to post a comment about your experience in A&E and Acute Medical Unit 5 at the RIE.

Im pleased to hear you felt the care and attention given to patients in the areas that you were a patient was a credit to the doctors and nurses.

Being kind and compassionate is always foremost in our minds when we are in contact with patients, relatives and colleagues and Im pleased to find that was the behaviour you observed.

I will ensure that your kind words are shared with the teams in these areas.

Many thanks again

Regards

Gill CSM
