"AN ISLAND OF HOPE IN A SEA OF DESPAIR"

About: Corby Urgent Care Centre

Unable to get help at my GP's surgery, St Lukes Hospital could not help but said Corby had a walk in and wait service so I drove there what happened next was truly amazing experience on arrival I was booked in with all Covid 19 precautions respected but what followed was one of my best experiences of 77 years of our national health service. After a short wait I was taken to be seen first of all by a doctor then by a nurse I had an ECG, Blood pressure test, sugar level and temperature. This was followed by a consultation with the doctor who was charm personified and gave me a diagnosis and prescribed drugs to help my symptoms he was very kind and understanding and a credit to his profession.

I came away from there thinking there was some shadow of hope for our some what our NHS which has wrongly become obsessed by Covid at the expense of everything else

All of the staff were brilliant and I came away feeling ten times better than when I got in there

Keep it up you gave an oldie some hope for the future of our NHS which is still envied word wide and keep safe you all we need you to give us hope .
