I attended Hadley Wood Hospital on 15th October for uterine fibroid embolisation. Everyone I encountered was caring and compassionate. I was treated with respect and dignity at all times. Despite coming in as an NHS patient and having concerns I would be treated differently, the truth is I was treated exactly the same as if I had been a private patient. At all stages, I was given the opportunity to ask questions and staff took the time to listen. I think this is very important when you are having a procedure of any kind. I am doing well at home. I would like to thank the Interventional Radiology Team, Ward B and Pre Op Assessment for their outstanding care.
