All the nurses wore PPE but were smiley and had tiaras in their hair. Was such a nice touch to take the edge off coming to surgery (which scared my son as he was frightened of getting an injection).
The nurses were patient and kind and explained what was happening and what they would and wouldn’t do. They also showed him stickers and gave him one.
The nurse charged with dispensing the flu med to my son was lovely. Genuinely kind and sweet. All of the ladies on duty that day were. We are very lucky to have such thoughtful and kind healthcare workers at Nightingale.
