About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as a service user),

I was booked for a planned section on the 17th September. I had to have a c-section previously with my 1st child which was a bit traumatic. This time was so different though. The theatre staff at the maternity hospital were absolutely amazing. They really went out of their way to try and make me feel less nervous and put me at ease. They chatted throughout and the whole experience felt calm and completely different to my previous one. Thank you to all who work in the department

Congratulations on the birth of your baby and thank you for taking the time to get in touch.

The theatre team will be delighted to know how at ease they made you feel, they certainly work hard to try and make the experience as relaxing as possible taking into account any specific wishes or requirements that you may have.

I will make sure this feedback is shared with them.
