"Thank you from the bottom of my heart"

About: Southmead Hospital

My husband was admitted to your resus unit a week ago, I was called as things were not good, he had pneumonia and sepsis

He suffered a severe stroke seven months ago and cannot walk or talk

He spent time in resus to stabilize and was then taken to the acute medical unit and then the respiratory ward

What a fantastic hospital, the care and nursing he received has made him recover and he owes his life to you

The way he was looked after and communicated with was fantastic

I cannot thank you all enough
