Back in April I had been suffering with server stomach pains to the point where I couldn’t walk, this continued to happen each month around the same time. I rang 111 and they advised me to go to the hospital.
I arrived at a n e at royal stoke with my partner, and was seen after about half an hour I was then taken down to another department and then waited around an hour.
To then be seen by the doctor, this person pressed on my stomach for a second and told me
I had “anxiety” or “ibs”
and sent me on my way. This person made me feel very stupid, and laughed at me.
Of course I wasn’t going to stop there.
The next day I spoke with my own doctors to get to the bottom of this pain, and sent me for a scan at Stafford hospital.
Which turns out i have endometriosis on my right ovary and large cysts on the left. Which was causing my agonising pain.
I would never go to this hospital again after being miss treated and felt the way I did when I left.
"Awful practice "
