I went in A&E with extreme abdominal pain. Was sent to UTC where i was seen by a GP. He was extremely nice and try to find the cause of my problem, so he decided to send me to gynaecology for further investigation.
On my arrival there they gave me painkiller and ask to wait around 1.5 hr outside in the waiting area. The sky B ward was empty with only a few patients so the staff gather around doing chatty chatta. Nevertheless despite being in severe pain I force myself to sit on the bench and wait.
I was finally called inside and the person asked me question on how I'm feeling and all that. They did a physical examination and that was it. They told me they assume all is fine, and suggested I to come back the next day for scan. How is it possible for a hosp not having scan facility for people suffering like myself. The investigation did not carry out properly. I was therefore sent back home still in severe pain. The person who called themselves an experienced Gynae consultant I believe did not follow the policies and procedure while i was at the hosp. Therefore they did not deliver and good service to myself(Patient).
