Dear Practice,
I have been emailing my repeat prescriptions over to the practice for a couple of months which has been working out brilliantly. This week I emailed a prescription over and I didn't receive the normal automated email, saying the practice has received my emailed prescription. Not knowing if my prescription has been received or not, I called the prescription line 15 times on and off through out the day and emailed them as well. The following day I called around 10 times and on the 11th call I managed to speak to a person in the department. They told me they were very busy. If I had the normal automated email back or someone answered my email I wouldn't have been calling the practice. It seems crazy as you're actually making yourself busier. Surely you could answer any quick questions a patient had on a email rather both parties taking up valuable time on a phone call. Regards
