From the reception staff to the GP himself. This service has disappointed for years. I have always avoided it as much as possible, always going through my GP at university, medical insurance when necessary or directly to the hospital.
However, in the last 6 weeks, I thought I’d torn some muscles in my groin and I needed to see a physiotherapist.
My sister is a doctor and when she had time, I asked her for her opinion. She was worried it might be a hernia and not a torn muscle due to pain when sneezing.
I called to get a referral to a physiotherapist and to book an appointment. The reception staff told me there was no one to give me a referral letter but that I would get a call back. Alternatively, I could call back on a day where the referral lady was in work. However, she could not tell me what day this was because the lady **might** come into work.
I try to call and cannot book a new appointment. I am still yet to receive a call back from the referral lady.
Again, I might have a possible hernia. I will be registering with a new GP. I cannot believe this service is still open/in the same management. I have heard nothing but negative reviews from neighbours who also avoid this surgery.
Awful, awful service.
