"poor care"

About: Orchard Surgery

I had a baby in August 2019. noticed a smelly discharge the next day

informed my GP she said it was fine. went back again the smell had got worse told it was BV and they would do a swab. I had to chase the swab for over a week finally got another appointment had to be examined again this was very painful. got given the wrong antibiotics so had to return again with the current pan mersey guidelines. Told by that GP to stop googling my symptoms but she would give me them anyway.

few days later I passed the retained products from the birth.

I sorted my own scan out by self presenting to a hospital as the GP did not know how to do this.

I put a complaint in to the Gp practice they blamed the fact I had a traumatic birth suffering from PTSD - thats why I was given the wrong diagnosis

GP concerned said he would do the same again.

I’m not reassured by this comment, it suggests your practice in future cases would act the same ignoring the guidance. The Pan

mersey guidelines do cover Wirral CCG
