Thank you to Rachel who helped me so much when I was sectioned a few months ago. It was such a scary experience for me and I think if it wasnt for Rachael Id still be there. She listened to me and took me seriously she believed me when no one else was. She spoke to my doctor for me and  corrected him on what he was doing to me because it was wrong and got the staff on the ward to treat me with dignity and stop ignoring me. I cant tell you how much she changed things for me. It got me out and back home with my family. Id recommend anyone in a mental hospital to get an advocate from here asap and if you can get Rachel!

I have tried ringing  her now its settled down but they said she was on maternity leave now so I hope she sees this please!  Thank you rachel for being so kind to me and for sorting out such a mess. God bless.

Thank you for providing feedback on the support you recieved from Rachel. It is really positive to hear how such a difficult and often scary experience was made better through having advocacy support. Advocates try to ensure that people's voices are heard and that they are really listened to by professionals who make such important decisions.

It is great to hear that you are now home with your family.
