About: Newham General Hospital

On 08.10.20 I had a Gastroscopy. I can honestly say that I was very anxious about the procedure, but I should not have been. From start to finish the care, sensitivity and attentiveness of the members of staff was absolutely amazing. The procedure was conducted professionally and with great care, compassion and empathy. I felt listened to and respected as an individual. I would like to say a big heartfelt Thank you to all the staff of Jasmine ward and the Gastroscopy team for enabling me to keep calm and at ease. I had a mild sedation for this procedure which definitely helped me. If you are due to have this procedure please be assured that you are in safe caring hands.🙏🏾❤
