I just came out of hospital from a cancer op. Needed to get hold of practice about a possible infection. Husband rang surgery he was 13th in queue. 45 minutes later he was 8th in queue. Being so unwell i had no choice but to get dressed to go to surgery with husband to get help. We were met with signs on door saying " do not enter unless you have an appointment. " we had no choice but to go in. We were met by a receptionist who had a totally quiet phone. No noise. Although we were in a phone queue.
She said have you got appt. We said no she gave us a right telling off and tried to send us away. My husband said how can you get appt no one picks up the phones and you stop us coming into surgery.
We were sent on our way after we demanded she ring a nurse. Reluctantly she did.
Further to neglect my hospital had sent the surgery a important perscription for me to have fortisip shakes. 5 days later my husband goes to chemist to collect them they are not even there.this Doctors is non caring. Ignorant.
No one cares. No one picks the phone up. You are left on your own.
Even the chemist are saying there are lot of complaints.
Terrible. If i knew where to take my complaint higher to report this i would.
