"Wait for call back appointment"

(as the patient),

Filled in online form yesterday as isolating for call back from duty doctor.

Receipt received back via email 8.40 am. It stated online you would receive call back within 4 hours. After 5 hours the wife phoned to enquire as to what was happening.

NHS 111 was called for advice. They went through a series of questions and stated that I had to have under their duty of care a call back with in the hour.

The advice we had been told was then told to the receptionist who refused.

It is now over 24 hours and have been left once again without any care.

I would advise anyone with a complaint to complain to the NHS as I feel complaints by this practice never happen. I am now having to change practices because I am concerned for our health. I feel the receptionist at this practice do not know the code of practice.

I feel my health has been put at risk as the code of conduct from the NHS have not been adhered to.

This needs to stop and stop now. Previously when I have complained I no longer see my usual GP and I have been moved to a doctor I had never heard of.

One last warning whisper when you speak otherwise you will find out on your medical record you have been shouting. Could it be my complaint was regarding an infection near my ear. Perhaps being a bit deaf at the moment may cause that and also being amplified through loud speaker.
