I attended in 09/19 for a mental health assessment with ongoing depression and suicidal thoughts and medication previously taken didn’t help,I was also under adhd team who were aware of this.i was told at the review by mental health nurse that she would speak to dr re:meds and get back to me the following week,I never heard back from them,I went back to my Gp and they received an outcome of the assessment 6 weeks later so Gp wrote back asking for help for me and they advised him to send me to talking therapy self referral (which I did a year ago)and to give me meds I have took in the past that don’t help.they said I never took them long enough but that particular med I took in the past for over a year max dose. There then followed a few emails back and forth from Gp and stein centre, then Gp was at a loss and I’m still depressed with suicidal thoughts knowing that all I have offered to me is meds that don’t work.
I made a complaint to pals which didn’t get anywhere so asked to take it higher.then I had my adhd assessment in dec2019 told dr how depressed and suicidal I was and then in March 2020 had another adhd appt with the medical director who said maybe you would like your adhd appts at your Gp practise which i have recently found out won’t happen as my practice doesn’t offer that service so it’s not more convenient as he suggested.
I received the outcome of my complaint which was just basically lies and excuses.one lie being the manager allegedly had a phone call with me which didn’t happen.so if anyone is thinking of making a complaint I would advise against going through any dept that is part of cwp,ie:pals. It’s a waste of time.
I’m now faced with 2 options of either expose them to the local press or seek legal help.
