"Totally at ease in very difficult circumstances "

I brought my daughter her for her first ever blood test. The service by the staff was amazing. They couldn’t have done more to put her at ease. The balance between care whilst explaining what was going on was neither too patronising nor dumbed down. She wasn’t rushed but neither were we sat around for ages. This is what the NHS should be like. I have visited this department many times pre Covid and always felt the staff are over worked and too pressured. This is clearly how the blood service at CRI should be run. My daughter was put truly at ease and as this is going to be a long process this is exactly what she needed. So professional.
