"Left without a GP!"

The GP’s here have always been great & I’ve been at this practice for years. Called today to book a flu jab, was told there wasn’t any, then I asked about a referral which may have gone to my old address because I moved mid-pandemic. Was asked for my new address & was then told extremely abruptly I was out of catchment and had been removed from the database!? I explained I have SLE & have a monthly prescription for one of my meds as I thought the transfer could wait until I’d found a new GP but she was unsympathetic & rather rude. I’m now left with a long term autoimmune condition in the middle of a global pandemic, no sign of a flu vaccination and no way of getting my multiple meds! I’m used to the doctors receptionist being abrupt (as I’m sure they sometimes have to be) but having a compromised immune system & having isolated for months I could have done without having to worry about all this on top.
