Visited for a colonoscopy.
Was rather apprehensive as I’d had one before in a different part of the country and it was most unpleasant.
My appt was at 9.30 and from the off the team were brilliant. In the suite itself the three people ( unfortunately I can’t recall their names, blame it on the sedation) were great. The guy doing the scoping couldn’t have been more helpful and skilful in putting me at ease and carrying out the procedure. In a strange way I felt that following the procedure on the monitor took my mind off the whole thing as I was fascinated by what was going on.
It was very quickly over, it seemed, and I was being collected and taken home.
If it’s possible to thank the team please I would be grateful. I would send a card but in this present covid world I thought it better not to.
