My dad was admitted via ED at Monklands at the end of Sept. He was met by a very caring and professional set of nurses. Michelle you put dad and me at ease and explained everything you did, you are a very professional and caring nurse.
Sorry I can't remember the other nurses names, but you were all amazing,. Lisa the advanced practitioner examined dad and explained everything to us both, you are so kind and incredibly knowledgeable.
To the nurses on ward 19 you kept my wee dad going, when we could not come and visit. Linda and Anne please give my families thanks to all the nurses and care assistants who treated my dad with dignity and respect. Currently my dad is in ward 20. To say his wife and 6 kids miss him so much is an understatement. But in true Lanarkshire nursing style, were you go above and beyond, for your patients.
The young technical nurses on ward 20 nightshift, managed to hook my dad, who can't even work the TV remote! up by zoom call to us. I can't tell you what that meant to mum and the family just to have that time with dad. You make me so proud to be a Lanarkshire nurse! We do an amazing job for our patients and I feel so grateful, to know my dad is getting the best care possible.
Please also pass my family's gratitude to all the doctors especially Ryan on ward 19, who took the time to update me on the phone on dads progress. And the physio who called mum today, she really appreciated all the help and advice you gave.
Yours sincerely
"My dad"
