"welcoming and attentive staff"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Clinical Intervention Unit

(as a service user),

After being diagnosed with a long term health condition 2 years ago and being told I would have to be on treatment for the foreseeable I was so anxious and nervous to start this journey. The staff in clinical intervention unit at Queen Margaret hospital were always so welcoming and always explained the procedure to me. They are all very attentive and make sure you have everything you need at all times. They cannot do enough for their patients, all the staff are so lovely and do a great job.

Can’t thank them enough for making this hard time that little bit easier!

Dear patientCIU

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your experience at the Clinical Intervention Unit.

I understand how frightening and uncertain things can feel, especially at the moment, when facing treatment for a long term condition and frequent hospital appointments. I am so glad to hear our staff have made this journey a little more bearable through their kindness and compassion and I will ensure that your feedback is shared with the team.

Regards

Dr Chris McKenna
