I had a stroke at the beginning of lockdown and got an ambulance to Wishaw General Hospital. After about an hour I was told to go home as they thought it was very minor. However I couldn't walk so my wife phoned the GP the next morning who organised for me to return to hospital. After a few days in Wishaw Hospital I was transferred to another hospital (Udston) were I received physiotherapy for a number of days before returning home. I then received on-line and home visits from local physiotherapists once lockdown allowed.
