"Excellent service despite challenging times"

Since covid-19 took over back in a March, unusually I have visited Rycote surgery several times due to being pregnant and having a baby! I have had to make contact quite frequently after giving birth for both myself and my daughter and I have been incredibly impressed with the service we have received. Significantly, we feel very fortunate as my experience has been far more positive than friends who have similarly given birth during these challenging times.

GPs have always been prompt at making contact to discuss concerns and have always managed to see us the same day. Having a baby during a pandemic is far from ideal as you are heavily reliant upon the NHS but I have felt very confident with the level of care we have been given/available. Consequently, I would like to extend my thanks to Rycote Surgery who have provided an outstanding service even in such unprecedented times.

My only suggestion would be I preferred it when we didn’t have to touch the screens to sign in and when both doors were open, it was far easier with a pram . In addition it makes me feel safer as the waiting area is ventilated and I don’t have to touch anything to enter the surgery.
