"Exceptional care"

Admitted to Ward 6 FVRH for a short spell. The care I received was of an exceptionally high standard. Every grade of staff from Housekeepers right through to Consultants were friendly, compassionate and kind. My dignity was maintained throughout my stay and I was treated respectfully. At a time where the NHS is under increasing pressure it would have been easy for communication to slip however I was regularly kept up to date with my treatment and was even advised when the Drs themselves were unsure of my condition. This honesty and openness was very much welcomed in my time of distress. My medications etc were always on time and I was kept comfortable. A very clear plan was made in partnership with myself prior to discharge and was provided with clear worsening advice.
