(as a service user),

7 weeks out from a hip resurfacing procedure and amazing myself at the progress. 

Faultless care at Freeman hospital, Newcastle - from each and every one of a varied and skilled team of nurses, physios, occupational therapists, pre-admission & anaesthetic team and a highly skilled surgeon and his registrar.

It’s very difficult to single out by name all the staff who were just spot on with every part of the journey, but special thanks to Dr MacMahon for his superb anaesthetic skills making it an extremely comfortable ride and recovery, and Mr Holland, who’s skill, advice and talents have transformed my quality of life. 

A sincere thank you to everyone in the service.
