About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I attended A&E with complications associated with a cat bite injury to my hand. There was ascending infection up my arm. I was seen by a nurse practitioner and then a plastic surgeon who admitted me immediately for intravenous antibiotics. I was then hospitalised in ward 60 for continued treatment overnight. I am very grateful for the prompt treatment that I received and hopefully I will continue to make a full recovery. All of the staff were lovely to me, very kind and caring, and also professional and knowledgeable. I would like to thank them all.
