(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward D9 for hernia surgery which was carried out quickly following my admission. During my stay, I received fantastic care from both ward and theatre staff. All aspects of surgery were fully explained to me and I was made to feel very relaxed prior to going into theatre. Post surgery, the aftercare was first class and I cannot thank everyone enough. I am writing this approximately 48 hours after a Inguinal Hernia procedure and I am virtually pain free. Many thanks to all concerned.

It is always a boost to morale when you hear that he team has made such a positive impact on a patient's journey. They will also be delighted to hear that your recovery is going well and that you feeling so well following your surgery
