About: South Tyrone Hospital / Day Clinical Centre

(as a service user),

I had to receive my treatment at Dungannon Hospital because the service was unavailable at Daisyhill.

I had a very positive experience during by treatment, Margaret and Wendy were very friendly and explained every step of the treatment to me.

I felt very safe because there was good social distancing and handwashing being used.

Thankyou tucanacm47 for sharing your experience of having to come to South Tyrone Hospital in stead of Daisy Hill during these very worrying and unsure times and I would also like to thankyou for coming this far in order to continue your treatment here while Daisy Hill staff had to contend with those who were sick that required in-patient care.

It has been difficult to make such a definitive move without advanced warning and I do appreciate very much how the patients from Daisy Hill and Craigavon Hospitals have adapted without much ado and joined the same DCC team in a different location!

I was delighted to share you compliments with Margaret and Wendy - it does make a huge difference to the team to receive such kind feedback as we have had to continue to come to work from the start of the pandemic in ever-changing circumstances and we commend you and your fellow patients and families for being so understanding. I am very happy to hear that social distancing and handwashing measures are being adhered to by the team looking after you and above all that you have accordingly felt "very safe" coming for your essential treatment.
