My husband had 7500ml. Fluid taken from him. Discharged from Hospital on Wednesday but by Sunday was feeling very unwell. I rang out-of-hours Doctor Sunday night. They wanted my husband to go to A&E Craigavon Hospital, but he was scared because of Covid 19 infections in Hospital. Monday (Bank Holiday) had to ring out-of-hrs Doctor again. She came out + prescribed antibiotics and sick tablets. My husband was violently sick twice through night and feeling very unwell with complete loss of appetite. His own doctor recommended acute home care and immediately had attention from consultant and two nurses, they have put him on antibiotic drip and are constantly checking him. It is very consoling for me to be able to talk to nurses and doctors as I am 80 years old and they explain it all to me.
Thank you very much
