I have been coming for treatment for over 6 years at CAH, the nurses and staff are excellent but there was always 3 or 4 patients in a small room getting treatment. It wasn't very practical, now I getting treatment with Biologic Therapy at South Tyrone Hospital. There's loads of space between each patient, the staff do everything to help make you feel comfortable during this pandemic. All the proper measures are in place, everything is spotless.

Many thanks Augustwb56 for taking the time to share your recent experience with us.

We have indeed been very fortunate in South Tyrone Hospital to have the space to ensure social distancing and are hearing more and more from many of our patients, especially those like yourself who have been receiving treatment from us for a long period of time, how the space we have now, compared to that which we had in the past before Covid, has been so important to your wellbeing.

We will certainly pass this feedback to on our seniors who like us value your sense of safety in our spacious surroundings and with the strict guidelines in place for PPE etc, we strive to make the clinical area as safe as possible for all of our patients.

I am also very reassured to learn that you found the ward spotless especially in these very worrying times and delighted to know that you find the DCC staff to be excellent - this is very humbling to read.

Feedback such as yours is very reassuring to read, and I will ensure that all the staff in the Day Clinical Centre are made aware of them.
