"Being a student and volunteer"

I have been a student and volunteer at the Recovery college, for 3 year now. The Recovery College has been an essential part of my mental health recovery, during this time. I cannot emphasise enough how important my invovlement as a student, and particularly as a volunteer, has been for me. I have made some great friends through my involvement with the Recovery College. Again, this has played a major part in my mental health recovery, as we know how important connection with others is for us, in maintaining good mental health. I have always been listened to, and always felt that my opinions are valued, when giving them. I feel as though I am part of the Recovery College team, and I want to be part of the Recovery College, as long as they will have me. I would like to give my deepest, and most sincere thanks to Renée, and all who are involved with the Recovery College.
